Kylie Jenner becomes Forbes youngest self-made Billionaire

When the news first broke, a lot of people felt it was untrue. First of all, how could Kylie Jenner the youngest in the clan, and indeed the most normal-appearing (at one time) of the Kardashian-Jenner family… how could she become a billionaire before Kim?
Kylie is the sole owner of Kylie Cosmetics. A company she started using $250,000 of her earnings from her various brand sponsorships and modeling jobs. She is both the CEO and chief marketing officer. She didn’t have to seek outside funding because her mother had been booking branded content gigs and sponsorship deals for her for years.
What with lines at PacSun, Steve Madden, Topshop, Sugar Factory, plus the solo hair extensions line with Bellami Hair.  The fact that the the capital was entirely hers, is the most important yardstick used in measuring her “self-made worthiness”.
One billion dollars is not something to scoff at. Whether she would have made that kind of money without her family name and the impossibly popular show Keeping up with the Kardashians? Thats another thing.
Over all, one must never forget that there have been celebrities who started out just like her, born into wealth and with attendant opportunities but who still blew it because they couldn’t handle the spotlight.
Kudos to her.
